Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Thursday March 26, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 2,144   Last Week:  2,116   Last Year:  2,268

Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly 
steady to 2.00 lower. All feeder classes sold steady to 5.00 
higher. Trade active with good demand on feeders. Replacement cows 
and pairs sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 10 percent of 
the offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 11 
percent, and feeders 78 percent. The feeder supply included 23 
percent steers, 43 percent heifers, and 34 percent bulls. Near 15 
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
