Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Monday January 06, 2014.

Cattle Receipts: 1,639     Last Week: 0,000     Last Year: 3,982

Compared to a week ago: No trends available due to markets being 
closed for the holidays. Slaughter cows made up 15 percent of the 
offerings, bulls 3 percent, replacement cows and pairs 10 percent, 
and feeders 72 percent. The feeder supply included 22 percent 
steers, 40 percent heifers, and 38 percent bulls. Near 13 percent 
of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
