Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Monday November 04, 2013.

Cattle Receipts: 4,862  Last Week: 4,802   Last Year: 4,249

Compared to a week ago Slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 
lower. All feeder classes sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Trade moderate 
with good demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs sold mostly 
steady. Supply consisted of 9 percent slaughter cows, 1 percent 
bulls, 10 percent replacement cows and pairs and 80 percent feeders. 
The feeder supply included 8 percent steers, 39 percent heifers and 
53 percent bulls. Near 33 percent of run weighed over 600 lbs.
