Alabama livestock auctions that were held Thursday September 19, 2013.

Cattle Receipts: 2,941  Last Week: 2,302   Last Year: 2,636

   Compared to a week ago: Slaughter cows sold 2.00 lower, bulls sold
7.00 to 8.00 lower. All feeder classes sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower. 
Replacement cows and pairs sold mostly steady. Trade moderate with 
moderate demand on feeders. Slaughter cows made up 0 percent of the 
offerings, bulls 0 percent, replacement cows and pairs 0 percent, and 
feeders 00 percent. The feeder supply included 13 percent steers, 47 
percent heifers, and 40 percent bulls. Near 27 percent of the run 
weighed over 600 lbs.
