Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Wednesday July 10, 2013.
 
Cattle Receipts:  2,722   Last week: N/S   Last Year: 3,232

Compared to a week ago: no trends available due to no sales last week 
for the holiday. Slaughter cows made up 6 percent of the offering, 
slaughter bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 5 percent, and 
feeders 88 percent.  The feeder supply included 18 percent steers, 38 
percent heifers, and 44 percent bulls. Near 26 percent of the run 
weighed over 600 lbs.
