Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Thursday June 13, 2013.

Cattle Receipts: 1,603   Last Week: 2,105   Last Year: 1,947

Compared to a week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 
2.00 lower. All feeder classes sold steady to 1.00 higher. 
Replacement cows and pairs sold steady to firm. Trade moderate 
with moderate demand on feeders. Slaughter cows made up 6 percent 
of the offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 5 
percent, and feeders 88 percent. The feeder supply included 16 
percent steers, 38 percent heifers, and 36 percent bulls. Near 
30 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
