   Slaughter Sheep: Due to the Federal Holiday last Monday no 
comparable receipts for this week. There was an unusually large amount
of lambs on offer today. A firm undertone was noted in lambs weighing
less than 70 lbs. Supply consisted of 87 percent Slaughter lambs, 12 
percent Slaughter Ewes, and 1 percent bucks. All goats are sold by the
head on estimated weights.

   Slaughter Bucks: 160-200 lbs 95.00, hair sheep 105.00-125.00; 200-300 
lbs 67.00-95.00, hair sheep 80.00.

   Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, Slaughter kids sold mostly 
steady to 10.00 higher. Number 1 and 2 slaughter nannies sold mostly 
10.00-20.00 lower while number 3 nannies sold steady to 10.00 higher. 
Slaughter bucks sold steady to 10.00 lower with some firmness noted in 
heavy bucks weighing over 150 lbs. Number 1 and 2 slaughter wethers sold 
sharply higher on a very light test while number 3 wethers sold steady.
Demand was moderate for all classes. Supply consisted of 48 percent 
Slaughter Kids, 39 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 13 percent bucks/
billies and wethers. All goats are sold by the head on estimated weights.
