Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week, there was a light run of
poorer quality sheep/lambs following the Greek Orthodox Easter Holiday.
Slaughter lambs Choice and Prime 2-3 under 70 lbs sold 40.00-50.00
lower. Lambs over 70 lbs and lower quality lambs sold 15.00-20.00
lower. Slaughter bucks sold steady. Slaughter ewes sold 5.00-10.00
lower. Demand was moderate. Supply was light. Supply consisted of 81
percent slaughter lambs, 18 percent slaughter ewes, and 1 percent
slaughter bucks. All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundred weight,
on actual weights.

Slaughter Bucks: 160-200 lbs 75.00-95.00, hair sheep 85.00-115.00;
200-300 lbs 60.00-100.00.
Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, a light run of overall poorer
quality goats were on offer following the Greek Orthodox Easter holiday.
Slaughter kids sold mostly 5.00-10.00 lower on poorer quality offerings.
Wether kids sold mostly steady to 10.00 higher on better quality stock.
Slaughter nannies sold mostly 5.00-10.00 higher. Slaughter bucks sold
unevenly steady. Not enough slaughter wethers for a market test but a
firm undertone was noted. Demand was moderate to good for all classes.
Supply consisted of 61 percent Slaughter Kids, 21 percent Slaughter
Nannies, and 18 percent bucks/billies and wethers. All goats are sold by
the head on estimated weights.

210.00; 60-80 lbs 225.00-235.00, wethers 230.00-260.00; 80-100 lbs wethers
