Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week, Slaughter lambs sold 5.00-10.00
higher. Slaughter ewes sold 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Slaughter bucks sold
3.00-5.00 lower on a light test compared to a light test last week. Demand
was moderate. Supply was moderate. Supply consisted of 71 percent
slaughter lambs, 28 percent slaughter ewes, and 1 percent slaughter bucks.
All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundred weight, on actual weights.

Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, Slaughter kids sold mostly
steady to 10.00 higher on a light supply. Slaughter nannies sold mostly
15.00-30.00 higher. Slaughter bucks and wethers sold mostly steady to
10.00 lower on a heavy supply. Demand was moderate to good for all
classes. Supply consisted of 30 percent Slaughter Kids, 30 percent
Slaughter Nannies, and 40 percent bucks/billies and wethers. All goats
are sold by the head on estimated weights.
