Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week, Slaughter lambs sold mostly
steady to 10.00 lower. Slaughter ewes sold mostly steady to 10.00 lower.
Bucks sold steady. Demand was moderate. Supply consisted of 74 percent
slaughter lambs, 25 percent slaughter ewes, and 1 percent slaughter bucks.
All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundredweight, on actual weights.

Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, Slaughter kids sold mostly
10.00-20.00 lower. Slaughter nannies sold mostly steady. Slaughter bucks
sold 10.00-30.00 lower with instances of 50.00 lower in Selection 1 bucks.
Wethers sold unevenly steady on a light test compared to a light test
last week. Demand was moderate for all classes but slumped towards the
end of the sale as buyers filled their orders. Supply consisted of 56
percent Slaughter Kids, 19 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 25 percent
bucks/billies and wethers. All goats are sold by the head on estimated
weights.
