Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week, slaughter lambs sold mostly
steady to 15.00 lower with most price movement in lambs weighing under
90 lbs. Slaughter ewes sold mostly steady. Bucks sold steady on a very
light test. Demand was moderate to good. Supply consisted of 89 percent
slaughter lambs, 10 percent slaughter ewes, and 1 percent slaughter
bucks. All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundredweight, on actual
weights.

Slaughter Bucks: 120-160 lbs hair sheep 120.0-132.00; 160-300 lbs

Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, slaughter kids sold 20.00-
40.00 lower on poorer quality supplies. Wether kids are not fetching the
same premiums that they were in months past. Slaughter nannies sold
steady to 10.00 lower. Heavy bucks weighing over 150 lbs sold firm while
lighter bucks sold weak. Wethers sold weak on a light test. Demand was
moderate for all classes with overall poorer offerings. Supply consisted
of 61 percent Slaughter Kids, 24 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 15
percent bucks/billies and wethers. All goats are sold by the head on
estimated weights.
