Compared to last week, Slaughter Lambs sold mostly steady to
10.00 higher. Demand was moderate. Slaughter Ewes sold mostly
steady compared to last week. Demand was moderate. Slaughter
supply consisted of 60 percent lambs, 31 percent slaughter
ewes, and 9 percent slaughter bucks. All sheep and lambs are
destined for non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are
sold by the hundred weight, on actual weights.
Slaughter Lambs: Non-Traditional Markets: Wooled & Shorn Choice
and Prime 2-3 50-60 lbs hair sheep 187.00-206.00; 60-80 lbs
192.00-195.00, hair sheep 180.00-196.00; 80-100 lbs 172.00-190.00,
80-110 lbs hair sheep 167.00-200.00. Wooled and Shorn Good and

Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, Slaughter Kids
sold mostly steady to 10.00 higher. Demand moderate. Slaughter
Nannies sold mostly 10.00-20.00 lower. Demand was light. Reported
slaughter supply consisted of 41 percent Slaughter Kids,
47 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 12 percent bucks/billies and
whethers. All goats are sold by the head on estimated weights.
