***Report format change: Traditional markets refer to lambs that are 
subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream outlets. 
Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter outside of
what would be termed as traditional markets. ***

   Compared to last week, Slaughter lambs sold mostly 20.00-30.00 lower.
Demand for the lambs was light once again due to the large number of
lambs offered. Slaughter ewes sold mostly 20.00-30.00 lower. Demand was
moderate for the good quality ewes offered. Slaughter supply consisted
of 80 percent lambs, 16 percent slaughter ewes and 4 percent slaughter
bucks. All sheep and lambs are destined for non-traditional markets.
All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundred weight, on actual weights.

   Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, slaughter kids sold mostly
20.00-30.00 lower. Demand was light. Nannies traded mostly 30.00-40.00
lower. Reported slaughter supply consisted of 59 percent Slaughter Kids,
25 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 16 percent bucks/billies and whethers.
All Goats are sold by the head on estimated weights.
         
    Slaughter Kids: Selection 1  40-60 lbs 132.00-154.00; 60-80 lbs
145.00-180.00; 80-110 lbs 175.00-200.00. Selection 2 40-60 lbs 110.00-
132.00; 60-80 lbs 122.00-145.00; 80-110 lbs 130.00-175.00; 110-120 lbs
175.00-179.00. Selection 3 40-60 lbs 62.00-110.00; 60-80 lbs 76.00-122.00.
