Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly 3.00-4.00 lower
on good quality offerings. High dressing Lean Steers are steers are sold
primarily to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers
sold mostly steady on a light test. Slaughter Holstein steers sold mostly
3.00-4.00 lower compared to a light test. Not enough slaughter heifers for
a market test. Demand was moderate. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady.
Demand was moderate. Slaughter bulls sold mostly steady. Cattle supplies
included 269 steers; 48 heifers; 387 cows; 36 bulls; and 12 feeder calves.

Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1250-1675 lbs 120.00-
123.75, few to 125.00. Choice 2-3 1250-1600 lbs 116.00-120.00. Select
1-2 1250-1600 lbs few 112.00-116.00. High Dressing Lean Steers 1100-1700
lbs few 118.50-124.75, individual 130.00.

sold mostly steady. Demand was moderate. Ag Market News LLC under the
USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 471 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are
sold by the cwt.
Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 120-128 lbs 122.00; 98-118 lbs
140.00-152.00; 90-96 lbs 120.00-135.00. Number 2 120-128 lbs 110.00;
106-118 lbs 130.00-137.00; 80-104 lbs 110.00-117.00. Number 3 72-130 lbs
