   Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold mostly steady to 1.00 
lower. Not enough slaughter Holstein steers or slaughter heifers for a
market test. Demand was moderate. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady.
Demand was good. Slaughter bulls sold mostly 1.00-2.00 lower. Cattle
supplies included 320 steers; 97 heifers; 403 cows; 38 bulls; and
22 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull
calves sold steady to 10.00 higher. Holstein heifer calves not tested.
Demand was moderate. Buyer attendance was good. Ag Market News LLC under
the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 413 head for Thursday's sale. All calves
are sold by the cwt.
