Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly 3.00-4.00 lower.
Slaughter Holstein steers sold mostly steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter
heifers were not tested last week so not comparison this week. Demand
was moderate. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-3.00 lower. Demand was moderate.
Slaughter bulls sold 3.00-4.00 higher compared to a light test last
week. Demand was good. Cattle supplies included 316 steers; 50 heifers;
390 cows; 33 bulls; and 22 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1200-1550 lbs 138.50-
140.00; Choice 2-3 1250-1600 lbs 136.00-138.00; Select 1-3 1150-1700
lbs 132.00-136.00.
Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1200-1700 lbs 129.00-

calves sold mostly 80.00-100.00 lower. Demand was moderate. Holstein
heifer calves sold 90.00-100.00 lower. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-
QSA-LMAR program graded 410 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold
by the cwt.
