   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly 2.00-3.00 lower
with moderate demand. Slaughter Holstein steers sold mostly 3.00 higher
with good demand. Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter cows sold 
mostly 4.00-5.00 lower. Demand was moderate. Cattle supplies included 
386 steers; 66 heifers; 397 cows; 20 bulls; and 9 feeder calves. All 
prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1450-1600 lbs 160.00-
163.00; Choice 2-3  1300-1650 lbs 157.00-160.00; Select 1-3  1200-1700 
lbs 154.00-157.00.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1400-1700 lbs 149.50-
153.50, few 156.50-157.00; Choice 2-3  1250-1750 lbs 144.0-148.00. Select 
1-2 1250-1750 lbs 138.00-143.00.

   Slaughter Heifers:  No test.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull
calves sold mostly 30.00-50.00 lower. Demand was moderate. Holstein 
heifer calves sold mostly 70.00 lower. Ag Market News LLC under the 
USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 426 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are 
sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  114-128 lbs 470.00-510.00; 102-
112 lbs 545.00-565.00; 94-100 lbs 580.00-595.00; 80-92 lbs 600.00-635.00. 
Number 2  112-128 lbs 470.00-500.00; 98-110 lbs 530.00-547.00; 88-96 lbs 
560.00-595.00; 80-86 lbs 685.00. Number 3  100-130 lbs 495.00-520.00; 90-
98 lbs 540.00-567.00; 72-88 lbs 630.00-660.00. Utility 60-98 lbs 450.00-
460.00.

   Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  80-120 lbs 350.00-385.00, few 400.00-
410.00. Number 2  100-105 lbs 250.00-275.00; 85-95 lbs 300.00-335.00. 
Utility/Non-tubing 110-115 lbs 110.00-150.00; 65-90 lbs 150.00-200.00.
