   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly steady to 1.00 lower. 
Slaughter Holstein steers sold mostly 1.00-2.00 lower. Slaughter heifers 
sold mostly steady on a light test. Demand was good for all classes.
Slaughter cows sold mostly 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand was good. Cattle supplies 
included 336 steers; 116 heifers; 450 cows; 18 bulls; and 22 feeder calves.
All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1650 lbs 163.50-
165.50, indivdual at 167.00; Choice 2-3 1300-1700 lbs 159.00-163.50;
Select 1-3 1300-1700 lbs 156.00-159.50.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1450-1700 lbs 148.50-
150.00; Choice 2-3 1450-1750 lbs 141.00-146.00. Select 1-2 1400-1750 lbs 
135.00-139.00.

   Slaughter Heifers:  High Choice and Prime 3-4  1100-1350 lbs 155.50-

   Slaughter Bulls:  Yield Grade 1 1050-2295 lbs average dress 134.00-
135.00, high dress 143.50-150.00, very high dress 167.00; low dress 119.00-
127.00.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull calves 
sold 20.00-30.00 lower. Demand was moderate. Holstein heifer calves sold steady
on a light test with moderate demand. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR 
program graded 473 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  110-128 lbs 415.00-437.00; 98-108 lbs
450.00-470.00; 86-96 lbs 495.00-515.00. Number 2  106-128 lbs 400.00-425.00; 
98-104 lbs 442.00-465.00; 88-96 lbs 497.00-510.00; 80-86 lbs 565.00. Number 3  
100-130 lbs 425.00-430.00; 90-98 lbs 490.00-492.00; 72-88 lbs 547.00-550.00.
Utility  100-110 lbs 150.00; 80-98 lbs 270.00-280.00; 60-78 lbs 240.00.

   Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  85-100 lbs 385.00-450.00. Number 2 100-105 
lbs 330.00-350.00; 85-90 lbs 350.00-375.00. Non-tubing/utility 75-90 lbs 200.00-
