   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly 8.00-10.00
lower compared to a very light test last week. Demand was very light.
Steers prices appear to be trying to make corrections to more aline
with Western prices. Not enough Slaughter Holsteins last week for a
comparison but a firm undertone noted. Slaughter heifers sold mostly
5.00-6.00 lower compared to a very light test last week. Demand was
light for all classes. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady. Demand 
was moderate. Cattle supplies included 224 steers; 64 heifers;
422 cows; 24 bulls; and 14 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1700 lbs 164.00-
165.00; Choice 2-3 1200-1700 lbs 160.00-163.50; Select 1-3 1250-1600
lbs 155.00-162.00.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1700-1800 lbs 153.00-
159.00; Choice 2-3 1600-1700 lbs 140.00-147.00. Select 1-2  1500-1700 lbs
134.00-139.00.

   Slaughter Heifers:  Choice 2-3 1100-1400 lbs 156.00-159.00; Select
1100-1400 lbs 152.00-154.50.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull 
calves sold 10.00-20.00 higher. Demand was good. Heifers sold steady. Ag 
Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 423 head for 
Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 115-130 lbs 350.00-362.00; 90-115 
lbs 375.00-392.00. Number 2 100-130 lbs 347.00-357.00; 88-100 lbs 367.00-
387.00; 80-86 lbs 435.00. Number 3 90-130 lbs 330.00-370.00; 80-88 lbs 
397.00-445.00; 72-78 lbs 380.00. Utility 80-110 lbs 70.00-100.00; 60-78 lbs 
30.00.

   Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1 85-110 lbs 220.00-255.00. Number 2 85-
110 lbs 140.00-200.00; 60-75 lbs 100.00-150.00. Utility/Non-tubing 80-90 lbs
