   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly steady to 
1.00 lower. Slaughter Holsteins sold mostly steady. Demand was moderate. 
Slaughter heifers sold mostly weak on a light test. Slaughter cows sold 
mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Demand was good. Cattle supplies included 354 
slaughter steers; 95 heifers; 420 cows; 53 bulls; and 19 feeder calves. All 
prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1650 lbs 163.00-166.00. 
Choice 2-3  1300-1600 lbs 158.00-162.50. Select 2-3  1250-1650 lbs 153.00-
157.50.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1375-1600 lbs 151.00-
158.00. Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs 145.00-150.00. Select 2-3  1350-1700 lbs

   Slaughter Bulls:  Yield Grade 1  930-2075 lbs average dress 132.00-139.00, 
high dress 140.00-148.00, low dress 118.00-125.00. 

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week Holstein bull calves 
sold sharply higher from 20.00-50.00 higher. Demand was very good. Heifers 
sold mostly steady to weak. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR 
program graded 469 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  110-128 lbs 252.00-292.00; 98-108 
lbs 322.00-335.00; 86-96 lbs 355.00-370.00. Number 2  112-128 lbs 260.00-
292.00; 98-110 lbs 306.00-337.00; 80-96 lbs 344.00-367.00. Number 3
100-130 lbs 304.00-305.00; 72-98 lbs 317.00-340.00. Utility 60-110 lbs 65.00-
85.00.

   Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  90-105 lbs 290.00-400.00. Number 2  70-
110 lbs 150.00-285.00. Non-Tubing/Utility 70-90 lbs 20.00-50.00.
