   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold
mostly steady. Demand was very good. Holstein steers sold
mostly weak on a light test. Heifers sold mostly steady on
a light test. Slaughter cows sold mostly 1.00-2.00 higher.
Demand was very good. Cattle supplies included 339 slaughter
steers; 100 heifers; 334 cows; 49 bulls; and 13 feeder calves.
All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1300-1600 lbs
149.00-154.00. Choice 2-3  1250-1700 lbs 143.00-148.75.
Select 2-3  1150-1600 lbs 136.00-142.00.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1300-1650

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week Holstein
Bull calves sold mostly 70.00-80.00 higher. Holstein Heifer calves
sold 10.00-20.00 lower. Demand was very good. Ag Market News LLC
under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 401 head for Thursday's sale.
All calves are sold by the cwt.
