When compared to last Thursday`s sale, slaughter steers sold 2.00-3.00
lower with light demand. Buyers were active, but conservative on their bids,
with little premium being paid for high-end Choice to Prime cattle. Slaughter
cows sold steady with very good demand. Cattle supplies included 392
slaughter steers; 96 heifers; 346 cows; 35 bulls; and 16 feeder cattle. All
prices per cwt.

Choice 2-3 1180-1595 lbs 120.00-125.00; 1610-1665 lbs 116.50-118.50. Select

Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Graded bull calves sold sharply higher,
anywhere from 35.00-60.00 higher with exception of a steady market reported
for calves below the 95 lbs weight break. Demand was very good for bull
calves. Heifers traded steady with light demand. Ag Market News LLC under the
USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 336 head for this Thursday's graded sale. One
hundred percent supply Holstein calves unless otherwise noted. All prices per
cwt.
