   When compared to last Thursday`s sale, slaughter steers sold mostly
steady. Demand was good. Slaughter Holsteins mostly steady compared to
a light test last week. Demand was good. Slaughter heifers mostly steady
compared to a light test last week. Slaughter cows mostly steady. Demand
was good. Cattle supplies included 184 slaughter steers; 75 heifers; 463
cows; 28 bulls; and 15 feeder cattle. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1250-1650 lbs 125.00-
127.00. Choice 2-3  1270-1600 lbs 121.00-124.75. Select 1-3  1250-1650
lbs 115.00-120.50.

   Slaughter Holsteins: Choice 2-3 1550-1650 lbs 105.00-109.00. Select
1-3 1400-1650 lbs 100.00-104.50. 

   Slaughter Heifers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1350-1450 lbs 121.50-

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Graded bull calves sold mostly steady
compared to last week on good demand. Heifers sold mostly steady on
moderate demand compared to last week. Ag Market News LLC under the
USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 372 head for this Thursday's graded sale.
One hundred percent supply Holstein calves unless otherwise noted. All
prices per cwt.

   Graded Bull Calves: Number 1 94-128 lbs 160.00-176.00; 86-92 lbs
110.00-140.00. Number 2 94-128 lbs 147.00-157.00; 80-92 lbs 100.00-
135.00. Number 3 90-130 lbs 120.00-130.00; 72-88 lbs 62.00-87.00.
Utility 80-110 lbs 70.00-73.00; 60-78 lbs 55.00.
   Holstein Heifer Calves: 75-120 lbs 100.00-125.00. Number 2 70-100
