Compared to last week, feeder prices uneven but with a higher undertone
where well tested. Supply light to moderate with an uneven test. Demand
good to very good. Cows and bulls were 15 percent of receipts. In the
feeder supply, steers and bulls were 62 percent of the run; heifers
38 percent. Near 16 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows
traded steady to 2.00 higher.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 few 350-400 lbs 258.00-266.50; 400-
500 lbs 235.00-261.00; 500-600 lbs 224.50-245.00; 600-700 lbs 195.25-229.00;
700-750 lbs 199.25-200.00. Medium and Large 1-2 300-400 lbs 245.50-264.00;
400-500 lbs 228.50-255.00; 500-600 lbs 215.00-235.00.
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 Lbs 215.00-232.50; 500-600 lbs
204.50-222.00; pkg 735 lbs 180.50. Medium and Large 1-2 300-400 lbs 224.50-
