Receipts:  1776    Last Week:  2865    Year Ago:  1765

   Compared to last week, five weight steers sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower; steers
over 600 lbs sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher; heifers over 500 lbs 1.00 to 6.00
lower.  Supply moderate and demand moderate to good.  Cows and bulls were
11 percent of receipts.  In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were
56 percent of the run; heifers 44 percent.  Near 43 percent of feeders
weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded 1.00 to 3.00 higher.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  few 340-400 lbs 181.00-189.00; 400-
500 lbs 160.25-180.00; 500-600 lbs 147.75-165.00; 600-700 lbs 144.50-154.00;
two load lots 874 and 875 lbs 132.00 and 133.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg
367 lbs 175.00; 400-500 lbs 163.00-178.00; 500-600 lbs 153.00-161.50; 600-
700 lbs 135.50-153.50; 700-800 lbs 132.60-147.50.
