Receipts:  2024    Last Week:  1682    Year Ago:  1367

   Compared to last week, steers under 600 lbs sold mostly 9.00 to 15.00
higher; heavier steers and all weight heifers sold  3.00 to 7.00 higher.
Supply moderate to heavy with three load lots of steers selling.  Demand
good to very good.  Cows and and bulls were 24 percent of receipts.  In the
feeder supply, steers and bulls were 66 percent of the run; heifers
34 percent.  Near 43 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter
cows traded steady to 1.00 lower.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 177.00-185.50, thin
190.00; 500-600 lbs 161.00-185.00; 600-700 lbs 145.00-154.00; 735-740 lbs
139.85-141.75; 800-900 lbs 128.85-136.00; 900-950 lbs 126.75-127.25.  Medium
and Large 1-2  pkg thin 320 lbs 200.00; 350-400 lbs 176.00-187.50; 400-
500 lbs 156.50-179.00, thin 181.00; 500-600 lbs 154.00-170.50; 600-700 lbs

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 144.50-162.50; 400-500 lbs
