Receipts:  2257    Last Week:  2431    Year Ago:  1681

   Compared to last week, steers 400-550 lbs sold steady to 3.00 lower;
steers over 550 lbs sold 6.00 to 10.00 lower; four weight heifers sold
steady to 5.00 higher; heifers over 500 lbs sold 3.00 to 8.00 lower.  Supply
was heavy with a high quality run including reputation strings of feeders.
Demand good.  Cows and and bulls were 13 percent of receipts.  In the feeder
supply, steers and bulls were 65 percent of the run; heifers 35 percent.
Near 68 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.  Slaughter cows traded 1.00
to 3.00 lower.
