Braford Cattle

While the typical 5/8 Hereford 3/8 Brahman is officially what a Braford animal is, it is much more common to find 1/2 Hereford 1/2 Brahman females.  They are known for their maternal characteristics and ability to adapt to hotter climates of the South.

F1 (first generation, Hereford X Brahman crosses) Braford cattle are commonly referred to as tiger stripes due to their distinctive striped color pattern.
