Compared to last Monday at the same market, Stocker and feeder cattle steady to
4.00 lower. Trade slow to moderate with light to moderate demand. Buyer
participation was light. Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady.
Trade active with good demand. Slaughter cows made up 34 percent of the offering,
Slaughter bulls 10 percent, 20 percent replacement cows, and feeders 36 percent of
the supply. The feeder supply included 44 percent steers and 56 percent heifers.
Near 37 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
