Compared to two weeks ago: Slaughter cows sold 4.00 higher, bulls
sold 2.00 higher. Feeder steers and bulls sold 4.00 to 9.00 lower.
Feeder heifers sold 3.00 to 7.00 lower. Demand light on feeders.
Replacement cows and pairs sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows 8
percent, bulls 2 percent, replacement cows and pairs 2 percent, and
feeders 88 percent. The feeder supply included 3 percent steers, 50
percent heifers, and 47 percent bulls. Near 16 percent of the run
weighed over 600 lbs.
