Auction Report for Wednesday, March 25, 2015
Receipts: 251 Last Sale: 253 Last Year: 229
Compared to last week, replacement cows sold 100.00-200.00 lower. Demand
was good. Replacement heifers sold mostly steady compared to a very light test
last week. Demand was moderate. Wednesday's supply included 85 fresh milking
cows, 4 springing cows, 10 short bred cows, 51 springing heifers, 19 short
bred heifers, 70 open heifers, and 6 bulls. One hundred percent of reported
supply Holsteins unless otherwise noted. All sales sold on a per head basis.
Short Bred Cows: (1-3 months):
Cull Cows: 850.00-1175.00
Springing Heifers: (7-9 months):
Bred Heifers: (4-6 months):
Medium : 1300.00-1400.00
Bulls: 600-900 lbs 900.00-1000.00. 900-1200 lbs 1100.00-1375.00.
1200-1500 lbs 1475.00.
