Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 05/13/2013
Receipts: 771 Last Week: 522 Year Ago: 911
Compared to last week, 400 lbs steers sold 1.00 higher, the rest of the
offering sold 1.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 1.00 higher and bulls
sold 2.00 higher. Demand uneven and supply light. Cows made up approximately
14 percent of the run, 86 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 37
percent of the offering, 43 percent heifers. Offerings over 60 lbs totaled
around 21 percent.
