Special Feeder Cattle and Bred Cow Sale

Receipts: 686 Last Week: 0 Year Ago: 585
Most of the feeder cattle were long time weaned and had received
one to two rounds of shots. Trade was active and demand good on the
feeder cattle and moderate on the bred cows. Bred cows accounted
for 11 percent of the run and feeder cattle 89 percent. In the feeder
cattle supply, 51 percent were steers; 8 percent Holstein steers; 40
percent heifers; and 1 percent bulls. Feeder cattle over 600 lbs 44
percent.
