Winter Livestock Feeder Cattle Auction, Dodge City, KS close for 5/22/2013

Compared with last week: Feeder steers the bulk of the trade firm to 1.00 
higher, except 800-900 lbs 2.00-4.00 higher; Feeder heifers steady; steer and 
heifer calves in a very limited supply steady to weak. Trade active, demand 
good.  Slaughter cows steady to firm. Slaughter bulls steady.  Receipts 71 
percent 600 lbs and over, 12 percent 600 lbs and under and 17 percent slaughter 
cows and bulls.  Feeder supply 54 percent steers and 46 percent heifers.
