Compared with last week: Steers 800-1100 lbs firm to 1.00 higher; heifers 650-
950 lbs firm to 2.00 higher, full advance on 850-950 lbs; Steers 800 lbs and
under, also heifers 650 lbs and under in a very limited supply steady. Trade
active, demand good. Slaughter cows steady to firm. Slaughter bulls not enough
for a market test. Receipts: 79 percent 600 lbs and over, 6 percent 600 lbs and
under and 5 percent slaughter cows and bulls. Feeder supply 48 percent steers
and 52 percent heifers.
