Slaughter Sheep: Sheep sale postponed to Tuesday, August 30th at 9:00am.
Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, buyers are beginning to fill
orders for the Eid al-Adha Holiday beginning September 12th. There was
a heavy supply of slaughter kids and nannies on offer today. Broken horns,
injuries, and other blemishes were discounted heavily. Slaughter kids sold
mostly steady despite a very heavy supply. Slaughter nannies sold mostly
10.00-20.00 higher. Slaughter bucks sold unevenly steady. Slaughter
wethers sold with a steady undertone on a light test. Demand was good for
all classes. Supply consisted of 68 percent Slaughter Kids, 23 percent
Slaughter Nannies, and 9 percent bucks/billies and wethers. All goats are
sold by the head on estimated weights.

265.00; 60-80 lbs 235.00-265.00, wethers 262.00-295.00; 80-100 lbs wethers
