Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week, lambs weighing over 80 lbs
sold sharply higher, while lambs weighing under 80 lbs sold steady to
weak. A firm undertone was noted in ewes. Bucks sold 5.00-10.00 lower
on a light test.Supply consisted of 85 percent Slaughter lambs, 14 percent
Slaughter Ewes, and 1 percent bucks. All sheep and lambs are sold by the
hundredweight, on actual weights.

Slaughter Bucks: 120-160 lbs 82.00; 160-200 lbs 70.00-110.00, hair sheep
77.00; 200-300 lbs 52.00-122.00.
Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, Slaughter kids sold mostly
10.00-20.00 lower with the exception of number 1 wether kids which sold
steady. Slaughter nannies sold mostly 10.00-20.00 lower. Slaughter bucks
sold steady to 10.00 lower. Slaughter wethers sold sharply lower on a light
test compared to a very light test. Demand was moderate for all classes.
Supply consisted of 65 percent Slaughter Kids, 22 percent Slaughter Nannies,
and 13 percent bucks/billies and wethers. All goats are sold by the head on
estimated weights.
