Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week, wooled slaughter lambs sold
20.00-40.00 higher while hair sheep sold mostly steady to 10.00 higher.
Ewes sold steady to 10.00 lower. Demand was good. Supply was good for
lambs and very good for ewes. Supply consisted of 73 percent slaughter
lambs, 25 percent slaughter ewes, and 2 percent slaughter bucks. All
sheep and lambs are sold by the hundredweight, on actual weights.
Slaughter Lambs: Wooled & Shorn Choice and Prime 2-3 50-60 lbs
300.00-305.00; 60-70 lbs 235.00-255.00; 110-130 lbs 182.00-184.00. Wooled
& Shorn Choice 2-3 40-50 lbs hair sheep 250.00; 50-60 lbs hair sheep
237.00-240.00; 60-70 lbs 220.00-230.00, hair sheep 230.00-240.00; 70-80
lbs 200.00-215.00, hair sheep 200.00-217.00; 80-90 lbs 185.00-202.00,
hair sheep 182.00-190.00; 90-110 lbs 177.00-198.00, hair sheep 155.00-
165.00, 110-130 lbs 162.00-177.00. Wooled & Shorn Good 1-2 40-50 lbs

Slaughter Ewes: Good 2-3 120-160 lbs 64.00-84.00, hair sheep 70.00-

48.00; 160-200 lbs 40.00-55.00, hair sheep 40.00.
Slaughter Bucks: 160-200 lbs 90.00-140.00; 200-300 lbs 70.00-127.00.
Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, slaughter kids sold mostly
10.00-15.00 higher. Nannies traded mostly steady. Bucks traded steady to
20.00 higher. Wethers sold weak with limited comparable receipts. Demand
was good with increased market participants. Supply was also good. Supply
consisted of 41 percent Slaughter Kids, 32 percent Slaughter Nannies, and
27 percent bucks/billies and wethers. All goats are sold by the head on
estimated weights.
Slaughter Kids: Selection 1 40-60 lbs 155.00-170.00; 60-80 lbs
205.00-225.00; 80-100 lbs 240.00. Selection 2 40-60 lbs 140.00-160.00;
60-80 lbs 165.00-172.00. Selection 3 40-50 lbs 80.00-110.00; 50-60 lbs
115.00-122.00; 60-80 lbs 145.00-160.00.
Slaughter Nannies/Does: Selection 2 80-130 lbs 157.00-175.00; 130-180
lbs 185.00-195.00. Selection 3 50-80 lbs 90.00-117.00; 80-130 lbs
120.00-150.00.
Slaughter Bucks/Billies: Selection 1 100-150 lbs 230.00-275.00; 150-
