mainstream outlets. Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined 
for slaughter outside of what would be termed as traditional markets. ***

*** Sheep Sale delayed until September 15 @ 9:00am ***

   Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, a very heavy supply of 
slaughter kids were on offer. Selection 1 and 2 slaughter kids traded 
20.00-40.00 lower with wether kids selling 30.00-60.00 lower. Selection
3 kids sold mostly steady to weak. Nannies traded mostly steady to 20.00
higher. Bucks traded 10.00-40.00 lower and wethers sold mostly steady to 
20.00 lower. Demand was good for the Rosh Hashanah holiday, however, a 
heavy supply was a detriment to prices. Supply consisted of 75 percent 
Slaughter Kids, 14 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 11 percent bucks/
billies and wethers. All goats are sold by the head on estimated weights.      

   Slaughter Kids: Selection 1  40-50 lbs 150.00-165.00; 50-60 lbs 180.00-
200.00; 60-80 lbs 215.00-235.00, wethers 255.00-270.00; 80-100 lbs 230.00-
245.00, wethers 275.00-305.00; 100-120 lbs 255.00-265.00, wethers 310.00-
335.00; 120-140 lbs 280.00-295.00, wethers 330.00-345.00. Selection 2  40-
50 lbs 120.00-145.00; 50-60 lbs 150.00-175.00; 60-80 lbs 160.00-210.00, 
wethers 195.00-250.00; 80-100 lbs 200.00-225.00, wethers 255.00-280.00; 
100-120 lbs wethers 275.00-290.00. Selection 3  40-50 lbs 100.00-135.00,
wethers 150.00-155.00; 50-60 lbs 120.00-150.00, wethers 165.00-175.00; 60-
80 lbs 140.00-175.00, wethers 180.00-195.00; 80-100 lbs 170.00-195.00,
wethers 225.00-235.00.
