subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream
outlets. Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter
outside of what would be termed as traditional markets. ***
Compared to last week, slaughter lambs sold mostly 10.00-30.00 higher.
Demand was good. Slaughter ewes sold mostly 10.00 higher. Demand was
good. This report does not include mixed lots of sheep and lambs.
Slaughter supply consisted of 78 percent lambs, 22 percent slaughter ewes
and bucks. All sheep and lambs are destined for non-traditional markets.
All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundred weight, on actual weights.

Slaughter Ewes: Good and Choice 2-3 50-60 lbs 130.00. Slaughter Ewes
Good 2-3 100-160 lbs 70.00-124.00, 160-300 lbs 70.00-120.00. Slaughter
Ewes Utility 1-3 120-160 lbs 74.00-97.00, 160-200 lbs 80.00.
Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, Slaughter Kids sold
mostly 20.00-50.00 higher on a light test. Demand was good on a light supply.
Nannies sold mostly 20.00-40.00 higher. Billies sold mostly 20.00 higher.
Slaughter supply consisted of 45 percent Slaughter Kids, 35 percent Slaughter
Nannies, and 10 percent bucks/billies and whethers. All goats are sold by the
head on estimated weights.

185.00; 60-80 lbs 195.00-245.00; 80-100 lbs 240.00-265.00. Selection 2 20-40
