subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream outlets. 
Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter outside of what 
would be termed as traditional markets. ***

   Compared to last week, Slaughter lambs sold mostly steady to 10.00 lower.
Slaughter ewes sold mostly 10.00-20.00 lower. Demand was light for all
classes. Slaughter supply consisted of 76 percent lambs, 16 percent slaughter
ewes and 8 percent slaughter bucks. All sheep and lambs are destined for
non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundred weight,
on actual weights.

   Slaughter Bucks: 150-200 lbs 65.00-82.00, hair sheep 80.00-94.00; 200-
250 lbs 54.00-74.00.
                       
   Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, slaughter kids sold mostly
steady to 20.00 lower on moderate demand. Overall quality not as good as
previous weeks. Nannies traded mostly 10.00-20.00 higher. Reported slaughter
supply consisted of 55 percent Slaughter Kids, 30 percent Slaughter Nannies,
and 15 percent bucks/billies and whethers. All Goats are sold by the head on
estimated weights.
         
    Slaughter Kids: Selection 1  40-60 lbs 132.00-150.00; 60-80 lbs 174.00-
205.00; 80-100 lbs 180.00-195.00. Selection 2 40-60 lbs 110.00-130.00; 60-80
lbs 127.00-167.00; 80-110 lbs 152.00-197.00. Selection 3 40-60 lbs 70.00-
107.00; 60-80 lbs 100.00-125.00; 80-110 lbs 83.00-87.00.
