are subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through
mainstream outlets. Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs
destined for slaughter outside of what would be termed as
traditional markets. ***

   Sheep and Lambs: No comparison from last week due to holiday.
Slaughter lambs traded with a steady to firm undertone noted.
Slaughter ewes traded with a firm undertone noted. Demand was
moderate for all classes. Slaughter supply consisted of 88
percent lambs, 8 percent slaughter ewes, and 4 percent
miscellaneous stock. All sheep and lambs are destined for
non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by the
hundred weight,on actual weights.

   Slaughter Bucks: 130-160 lbs 50.00-92.00, hair sheep

   Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, slaughter kid
goats sold mostly 10.00-20.00 lower. Slaughter Nanny goats
sold mostly 10.0-20.00 lower. Slaughter billies sold mostly
steady. Demand was moderate for all classes. Slaughter supply
consisted of 55 percent Slaughter Kids, 31 percent Slaughter
Nannies, and 14 percent bucks/billies and whethers. All Goats
are sold by the head on estimated weights.
          
    Slaughter Kids: Selection 1  40-60 lbs 107.00-137.00; 60-80
lbs 107.00-142.00; 80-110 lbs 134.00-142.00. Selection 2 40-60
lbs 70.00-107.00; 60-80 lbs 100.00-122.00; 80-100 lbs 110.00-
130.00. Selection 3 40-60 lbs 40.00-85.00.

    Slaughter Nannies/Does: Selection 1 90-125 lbs 117.00-154.00;
120-140 lbs 127.00-147.00. Selection 2 80-125 lbs 100.00-122.00.
