   Compared to last week, Not enough Slaughter steers for a market test.
High dressing Lean Steers are steers are sold primarily to the ethnic
market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold 3.00-4.00 higher on
moderate demand. Not enough Slaughter Holstein steers for a market test.
Not enough Slaughter heifers for a market test. Demand was moderate for
the conventional steers and heifers. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 lower
on moderate demand. Slaughter bulls sold 3.00-4.00 higher on good demand.
Cattle supplies included 205 slaughter steers; 111 heifers; 306 cows;
93 bulls and 193 feeder cattle. All prices quoted
per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: Select 1-2  1150-1600 lbs few 98.00-99.00. High
Dressing Lean steers 1150-1750 lbs 95.00-122.00, few 123.50-128.00. 

   Slaughter Holsteins: Select 1-2  1350-1500 lbs few 78.00-81.00.

calves sold 10.00-20.00 higher. Demand was good. 

   Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  65-125 lbs 100.00-125.00. Number 2
70-110 lbs 80.00-100.00. Number 3  70-130 lbs 50.00-75.00. Utility  50-
