   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold 4.00-5.00 lower compared to a
very light test last week. Demand was moderate. High dressing Lean Steers are
steers sold primarily to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those
steers sold 5.00-6.00 lower on light demand. Slaughter Holstein steers not
tested last week so no comparison. Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter
cows sold 3.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold 4.00-5.00 lower. Cattle
supplies included 192 slaughter steers; 140 heifers; 265 cows; 135 bulls and
176 feeder cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1450-1600 lbs 120.50-124.00.
Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs 116.00-119.00. Select 1-2  1300-1625 lbs 109.00-
115.00. High Dressing Lean Steers 111.00-131.00.

   Slaughter Holstein Steers: Choice 2-3  1400-1600 lbs 104.50-105.00. Select
1-2  1350-1650 lbs 101.00-104.50.

lbs 135.00-160.00. Number 3  65-115 lbs 110.00-145.00. Utility  60-115 lbs
40.00-100.00.
