   Compared to last Monday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly 1.00-2.00 higher.
Slaughter Holstein steers sold mostly 3.00-4.00 higher compared to a very light
test last week. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic
market and most are extremely lean. Those steers were not reported last week so
no comparison reported. A higher undertone was noted. Slaughter cows sold mostly
1.00-2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold mostly 2.00-3.00 higher. Cattle supplies
included 167 slaughter steers; 103 heifers; 349 cows; 83 bulls and 131 feeder
cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 2-3  1450-1600 lbs 131.00-136.00.
Choice 2-3 1400-1650 lbs 127.00-130.00. Select 1350-1650 lbs 120.00-125.50.
High Dressing Lean Steers 127.00-147.00.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Holstein bull calves sold steady to 10.00
higher. Demand was moderate. All prices per cwt.

Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  80-105 lbs 200.00-230.00. Number 2  60-125 lbs
175.00-205.00. Number 3  70-110 lbs 135.00-160.00. Utility 75-100 lbs 100.00-
125.00.
