   Compared to last Monday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly 1.00-2.00
higher. Slaughter Holstein steers sold 2.00-3.00 higher on a very light test.
High Dressing lean steers sold mostly 3.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold
2.00-3.00 higher. Demand was good. Slaughter Bulls sold mostly 1.00-2.00 lower.
Cattle supplies included 195 slaughter steers; 96 heifers; 306 cows; 96 bulls
and 87102 feeder cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs 129.00-132.50. Select 1-3
1300-1650 lbs 124.50-128.00. High Dressing Lean Steers 130.00-142.00,

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week's report, Holstein
bull calves sold 80.00-100.00 higher. Holstein heifer calves sold steady.
Demand was good. All prices per cwt.  
   
   Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  100-115 lbs 450.00-475.00; 80-100 lbs
400.00-435.00. Number 2  75-120 lbs 375.00-410.000. Number 3  100-135 lbs
300.00-325.00; 70-90 lbs 225.00-285.00. Utility  90-120 lbs 150.00-200.00;
