   Compared to last Monday's sale, Slaughter steers traded mostly 2.00-3.00
lower. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic
market and most are extremely lean. Today those steers traded mostly 1.00-
2.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-3.00 lower compared to last week.
Demand was moderate. Slaughter Bulls sold 1.00-2.00 lower. Cattle supplies
included 150 slaughter steers; 88 heifers; 301 cows; 99 bulls and 115 feeder
cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: Choice 1-2  1300-1650 lbs 140.00-144.00. Select 1-3  
1300-1650 lbs 134.00-139.50. High dressing Lean Steers 140.00-159.00.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull 
calves sold mostly steady to 20.00 lower on a heavy supply. Heifer Calves 
sold mostly steady on a very light test. Demand was moderate. All prices 
per cwt.     

Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  100-115 lbs 500.00-535.00; 80-100 lbs 
525.00-550.00. Number 2  110-125 lbs 425.00-485.00; 75-105 lbs 500.00-
535.00. Number 3  120-130 lbs 325.00-375.00; 65-110 lbs 450.00-510.00.
Utility 110-120 lbs 200.00-200.00; 90-105 lbs 225.00-325.00; 65-90 lbs
350.00-425.00. 

Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  85-110 lbs 400.00-460.00. Number 2
75-100 lbs 300.00-350.00. Utility/Non-tubing 70-85 lbs 225.00-275.00;
55-70 lbs 70.00-160.00.
