   When compared to last Monday's sale, Slaughter steers traded mostly
2.00-3.00 higher on a very light test. High dressing Lean Steers are
steers sold primarily to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean.
Today those steers traded mostly 2.00-3.00 higher compared to last week.
Slaughter cows sold mostly steady to 1.00 lower compared to last week.
Demand was moderate. Slaughter Bulls sold mostly 3.00-4.00 lower. Cattle
supplies included 146 slaughter steers; 157 heifers; 312 cows; 96 bulls
and 69 feeder cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: Choice 1-2 1350-1650 lbs 159.00-161.50. Select 1-3
1300-1600 lbs 152.00-156.50. High dressing Lean Steers 160.00-179.00.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull calves 
sold mostly steady to 20.00 lower. Holstein heifer calves sold steady on a light 
test. Demand was moderate. All prices per cwt.     

Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  100-105 lbs 535.00-560.00; 75-90 lbs 585.00-
625.00. Number 2  110-115 lbs 485.00-510.00; 95-110 lbs 525.00-560.00; 75-90 
lbs 550.00-585.00. Number 3  120-130 lbs 410.00-450.00; 100-115 lbs 475.00-
510.00; 70-95 lbs 500.00-535.00. Utility 120-140 lbs 310.00-375.00; 100-115 
lbs 375.00-425.00; 65-95 lbs 425.00-475.00.

Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  100-115 lbs 385.00-400.00; 85-95 lbs 410.00-
425.00. Number 2  100-140 lbs 300.00-350.00; 80-90 lbs 375.00-410.00. Utility/
Non-tubing 75-105 lbs 200.00-275.00; 60-70 lbs 50.00-100.00.
