When compared to last week's sale, slaughter cows sold mostly 4.00-5.00
lower with light to moderate demand, with exception of an exceptional lot of
high dressing beef-type cows traded from 88.00-93.00/cwt. Bulls traded
steady. Demand was good despite a lower market. Slaughter supply included 201
slaughter steers, 73 heifers, 345 cows, 165 bulls, and 52 feeders. All prices
quoted per cwt.

100.00-110.00. Number 2 95-120 lbs 100.00-115.00; 80-90 lbs 80.00-95.00.
Number 3 75-135 lbs 55.00-95.00. Utility 70-115 lbs 30.00-50.00.
