When compared to last week's sale, slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00-2.00
higher with very good demand. Cattle supply included 120 slaughter steers, 95
heifers, 309 cows, 107 bulls, and 40 feeders. All prices quoted per cwt.

Calves: When compared to last Monday`s sale, Holstein bull calves
returning to veal barns sold mostly steady, while calves destine for dairy
beef programs sold 15.00-20.00 higher. Demand was good for bull calves in
general. Heifer calves traded steady with light demand. All calves are
Holstein unless otherwise noted. All prices per cwt.
Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 80-120 lbs 135.00-150.000. Number 2 80-
130 lbs 115.00-130.00. Number 3 70-120 lbs 75.00-100.00. Utility 70-115 lbs
30.00-60.00.
Holstein Heifers: Number 1 90-105 lbs 110.00-135.00. Number 2 80-135 lbs
60.00-80.00. Jersey/Crossbreds 50-125 lbs 50.00-65.00. Non-Tubing/Utility 75-
